Cordal Cephas
Cordal L. Cephas was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Cordal later attended The University of Tulsa College of Law, graduating with honors. During law school, he received numerous awards and recognitions, including serving as a Staff Editor for the Tulsa Law Review, earning first place in the Hager Torts Appellate Competition, serving as President of the Black Law Students Association, and participating in both the Community Advocacy Clinic and the Litigation Clinic.
Cordal is deeply passionate about resolving his clients’ legal issues and believes that each matter deserves intentional care, diligence, and personal attention. He takes the time to understand every client’s situation while maintaining consistent communication throughout the legal process. It was this commitment to service and advocacy that led Cordal, along with Lashandra Peoples-Johnson, to found Johnson | Cephas Law, PLLC. Guided by his faith, Cordal believes the law should be accessible to everyone and approaches his work with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
Cordal focuses his practice on Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, and Civil Rights matters. Practicing in both state and federal courts, he strongly believes that his calling as an attorney is not only to advocate for justice, but to serve others faithfully by standing for truth, protecting the vulnerable, and fighting for the rights of those who need a voice.
